Your website

We build your website for $999 + GST. That's up to 5 pages, with the words and design done for you, and 3 rounds of changes before it goes live.
We build it on a private preview address first, so you can see it before anyone else does.
Payment is due before your site goes live. Not happy with what we make? There's no obligation to go ahead, and you don't pay a cent.
Once you say "go live" and the invoice is paid, we put it on your web address.

We use AI tools to streamline how we write, build and look after your site. That's how we keep the price down and the turnaround quick.
A person at Biff checks everything before you see it, and nothing goes live until you've said yes.
AI can get things wrong, like a detail about your business or a claim you wouldn't make. That's why you get the preview and 3 rounds of changes. Please read your site properly before it goes live.
We put your questionnaire answers and anything you send us into the AI tools we use, only to build and look after your site. We don't use your information for anything else, and it's never used to train AI models. See our privacy page.
We always recommend real photos of you and your work when you have them. If we use AI to make an image for your site, we'll tell you which ones.

Only send us logos, photos and words you're allowed to use. If you're not sure, ask us and we'll find or make something that's fine to use.
Check your site properly on the preview. Once it's live, fixing our mistakes is free. New changes come out of your monthly plan.

Your domain is always registered in your name. It's yours.
If we look after it for you, it's $100 + GST every two years. You can also bring your own, and we'll tell you what to point where.

Your monthly plan starts the day your site goes live:
- Keep it running, $99 + GST a month: hosting, security certificate, backups, fixes, and one small change a month.
- Sorted, $149 + GST a month: everything above, plus two small changes a month, a monthly Google Business Profile post, and a check every six months that you're showing up on Google and in AI answers.
A "small change" is something like new prices, new hours, a new photo or a tweaked paragraph. Bigger jobs, like a new page, we'll quote first.
Unused changes don't roll over.
Plans are invoiced monthly in advance.
No minimum term. Cancel any time with one month's notice.

Your domain stays yours. We'll help move it wherever you like.
We'll give you a copy of your site's files and your photos, free.
We keep your records in case you want your site back later. If you'd like us to delete them, just ask.

If a monthly invoice is more than 30 days overdue, we may pause your site until it's sorted. We'll always email you first.

We look after your site with care, but we can't promise it'll never go down, and we're not responsible for lost business if it does.
You're buying this for your business, so the Consumer Guarantees Act doesn't apply, as allowed by New Zealand law. The Fair Trading Act still does, and we'll always be straight with you.
We may update these terms. If we change anything that affects you, we'll email you first.
